Parents
Please get involved!  Don't let your math anxiety rub off on your kids.  Both your child and I want you to share in our celebrations and our challenges throughout the year.  You should have received a welcome letter from me at the beginning of the school semester that provided contact information and invited you to access this Website and your student's records through Webgrades.  If you have not registered for this valuable online access, click here to apply.  Please use these resources to monitor our progress and better understand how you can help your child succeed.  Do not hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns.

One way we measure students' understandaing is through self-assessment.  Sometimes asking ourselves the simplest questions can reveal the opportunities we are unknowingly denying ourselves.  Check out your "Can I...?" list of questions for parents.  Do your best to model good attendance and good citizenship and to provide an appropriate study environment for your child at home that includes nutritional meals and snacks, quiet areas and times, positive attitudes, encouragement, praise, love, and a good night's sleep.

Consistent with the philosophy and values of Carmel High School, this Academic Honor Code was adopted.  Familiarize yourself with the responsibilities and expectations of the school, the teachers, the students and the parents.

GEOMETRY PARENTS: Our text book gives you chapter-by-chapter access to A Guide for Parents.
